 Kittyhawk A29-82 was one of the first four P-40s to go to No. 2 Operational Training Unit at Mildura, Victoria.  This is how it appeared when it was first delivered to that unit.
On January 24, 1943 the aircraft crashed while approaching the strip at Mildura.  The pilot, Sgt George Frederick Raffen was killed.

Download   Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk A29-133 Polly
 A29-133, "Poly", was the personal aircraft of Bruce "Buster" Brown (DFC & Bar) who flew with 75 Squadron at Milne Bay in August/September 1942.  "Polly" is now displayed in its 75 Squadron markings at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra.
